CoolSculpting Services
Fat cells freeze at higher temperatures than surrounding tissues. CoolSculpting technology enables us to precisely target fat cells beneath the skin, and cool them to temperatures that trigger their natural death. This process, known as Cryolipolysis®, results in the treated fat cells becoming crystallized (frozen), and actually dying. Because however, the fats crystallize faster than normal cells, and there is no damage to skin, nerves, or other surrounding tissue.
Over time as the treated fat cells shrink and die, your body naturally metabolizes them, eliminating these dead cells, and leaving a more sculpted you. Unlike with diet or exercise where the fat cells are reduced in size, with CoolSculpting, once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.

CoolSculpting® Uses
With CoolSculpting® and CoolSculpting® Elite, visible fat bulges under the chin (under the chin) and submandibular (under the jawline) areas, the thigh, abdomen, and flank are treated, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also referred to as banana roll), and upper arms. In addition to treating lax tissue in the submental area, it is FDA-approved for treating lax tissue. In terms of weight loss, CoolSculpting® and CoolSculpting® Elite are not treatments.
CoolSculpting® Important Safety Information
Cryoglobulinemia, cold agglutinin disease, or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria are conditions that should not be treated with CoolSculpting® or CoolSculpting® Elite.
Be sure to tell your doctor if you have any medical conditions, including recent surgery, a hernia, or allergies or sensitivities.
At the treatment site, you may experience feelings of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold feeling, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping. As the treatment area numbs, these sensations will diminish. A typical side effect following submental or submandibular area treatment is temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity, as well as the sensation of fullness in the back of the throat.
CoolSculpting® and CoolSculpting® Elite can cause rare side effects in approximately one to ten out of 10,000 treatments (between 0.01% and 0.1%). A rare side effect is an enlargement of the treated area that develops 2 to 5 months after treatment, which will not go away on its own, and may need surgical intervention.
